Environmental Education Program:
Curriculum based outdoor science programs for 3rd-7th grade levels. Teachers are provided with advance materials for work in the classroom, followed by the outdoor experience program at Fullerton Arboretum and then given a post-visit test for the classroom. This program for 18/19 is funded by a grant that provides admission to the arboretum as well as round trip bus transportation. Schools wishing to participate may request a reservation form through our Education Department at 657-278-4681 or by emailing mimacias@fullerton.edu.

Private Tours:

All scheduled tours must be booked 2 months in advance of tour date requested.

Guided Nature Tours:
Groups of up to 15 - guided walking tour, approx. 1 1/2 hrs. Age 5 yrs & up. Adults must accompany children at all times during tour, complying with all rules and regulations in the garden. Guided Nature Tours are only available during weekdays. Last tour is at 2:45 p.m.

Guided Heritage House Tours:

Suitable for children 8 years & up. 1894 Eastlake style Victorian house and gardens. Max - 10 people per group, new group enters house every 5 minutes. Adults must accompany children at all times during tour, complying with all rules and regulations. Join our Victorian dressed docents as they escort you into the past to the Victorian Era. Heritage House Tours are Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 pm - 4:00pm. Meet at Heritage House.

Note:
Heritage House is closed for the months of January and August.

Suggested gate donation of $5 per person, which helps to maintain the garden, will be collected in advance of the tour.

Guided Public Nature Tours: Join one of our knowledgeable docents as they guide you on a tour through the beautiful garden. Enjoy the sights and sounds of our different garden collections through secret trails off the beaten path. Docents will take you to their favorite places in the garden and share stories and folklore. Bring your walking shoes and your enthusiasm! Public tours are held the second and fourth Saturday of each month at 10 am. Meet at the Nature Center; no registration required.

Free guided weekend tours are general information tours on the topic of the month ONLY. For specialized merit badge tours or other specialized information tours, please request a private tour by using the BLUE button above.
