Home Composting

In this workshop, you will learn how easy it is to start and maintain your own home composting system. Learn detailed information; what, when, and how to add green waste into your heap and what absolutely needs to stay out of the pile. The benefits of your finished product can be used as mulch, soil amendment, or as your own organic plant fertilizer that will help your plants grow healthier and pest free.

Composting with Worms

Learn how to divert kitchen scraps and other organic waste from the landfill and turn them into plant fertilizer. In this workshop, you will learn how to make your own worm composting bin and how to maintain it. Learn how easy it is to feed and herd “Red” worms so they can provide you with “black gold,” or casting that will help keep your plants healthy, vigorous, and pest free.
