On CSUF’s Day of Giving, we set an all-time record with 243 donors. We also unlocked
a $25,000 grant for reaching 200 donors, and earned an additional $12,500 for finishing
top three in the PepsiCo challenges. In total, Fullerton Arboretum raised $52,025.
Thank you to everyone who generously donated! This wouldn’t be possible without you.
We will be hosting an exhibit for the thesis of Cal State Fullerton Master of Fine
Arts student, Leonardo Contreras:
Chen Liu is a Graphic and Interactive Design major. His project, “Design comes from
Life,” takes inspiration from the world around him. Chen hopes that people find relief
from stress by viewing his work.
Leonardo Contreras will be exhibiting an art sculpture project. He is excited to be
presenting his work in an unconventional way at the Arboretum, surrounded by nature.
After completing the Masters in Fine Arts program, Leonardo hopes to teach sculpting
classes full-time.
Visit the Wisteria Arbor daily from December 3rd-December 8th to meet the artist and
view the exhibit!
Calling all CSUF Students!
Volunteer at Fullerton Arboretum and make the most of your experience at Cal State
Fullerton. Help our horticulture team with fruit harvesting, weeding, trimming, watering
plants in the nursery and other fun activities. Share the beauty and fun facts about
the Arboretum at one of our Discovery Stations. There is something here for every
Titan!
Passionate about the environment? Love being outdoors? Take advantage of a great internship
opportunity right here in our own backyard at the Arboretum.
Help our trees thrive! Healthy trees ensure offspring for tomorrow's plants, strengthening
the future wellbeing of our gardens. Your tax-deductible gift will directly fund the
care for a specific tree in the garden for a period of one year. Your gift will be
recognized by a personalized sign placed near the tree. For trees in need of a sponsor
and gift amount, visit our Ways to Give page.
There is much work to be done to ensure the success of Fullerton Arboretum in the
years to come! Your contributions help us continue in our mission to care for these
plants and ongoing projects, as well as provide for the native wildlife that calls
our gardens home. Thank you for your support!
