Engaging Environmental Experiences Internship

fullerton arboretum internship

The Engaging Environmental Experiences (E3) Internship program at Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton provides CSUF students a pathway for developing leadership and cross disciplinary skills, team building and team management skills while learning horticultural practices and general ecological principles. Working on a team of up to 6 students in various majors, students gain a diverse experience in the E3 program.

A learn-by-doing focus is paramount to ensuring a robust academic experience, completing service-learning projects, building relationships with campus and communicty members and working together to solve pressing environmental issues in the Arboretum, CSUF campus, and beyond.

The E3 program is open to CSUF students in any major, from freshman to senior class levels and internships are available Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.  Interns should plan to spend at least 8 hours per week for a total of 120 hours per semester consisting of activity days, independent research and team meetings.
