Parking Update

Enjoy Summer During the Evening

The Arboretum has limited free parking for visitors only, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Vehicles parked when Arboretum is closed or not visiting the Arboretum, will be cited.

Additional parking is normally available in CSUF lots G & A across from the Arboretum, Monday from 12:00 a.m. through Friday at 5:00 p.m. for $8 per car. Parking in lots G & A is sometimes free during weekends; beginning Friday at 5:00 p.m. Parking permits available at specially marked yellow kiosks upon entering lots G & A.

Victorian Candlelight Christmas Returns to the Fullerton Arboretum

Join us on December 5 or 6 between the hours of 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm for a enjoyable return to a traditional Victorian Christmas. Tickets are available on-line for $15/person. Purchase tickets here.

yellow events arrow 11/8/09 Fullerton Beautiful-Nine Easy to Grow and Easy to Use Herbs

Visit the Arboretum Sunday, November 8 at 2:00 pm for the "Nine Easy To Grow and Easy to Use Herbs" class--at the Fullerton Beautiful Annual Meeting. Speaker Maxine Barry has been a lifelong gardener and conducts classes and presentations on this subject at various forums and herb fairs.  Maxine will make this presentation at the annual meeting of Fullerton Beautiful.  Maxine has close to 100 varieties of lavender gathered during trips to lavender festivals throughout the west and word has it that there will be lavender cookies to sample.

The Evening in the Potting Shed returns to the Arboretum on November 20 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This special annual "pre-holiday" evening of shopping and wine & cheese is a popular activity each year in the late fall. Join us for a relaxing evening under the lights in The Potting Shed.

The Arboretum is pleased to announce it will host the annual "Winter Cactus and Succulent Show and Sale" again this year on December 4, 5 & 6 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm all 3 days. This very popular show and sale is the highlight of the pre-holiday season and this year promises to be better than ever, with hundred's of specimen plants for sale. As a shopper--don't miss this sale. As a person who likes cactus and succulents, plan to visit the show portion on December 5 & 6 to see some of the most unusual cactus and succulents from area collectors and growers.

The Victorian Society at the Fullerton Arboretum is pleased to announce it will be hosting its "Victorian Christmas" event at Heritage House on Saturday and Sunday, December 5 & 6. While this event has not been held for a few years, it used to be very popular and the hit of the holiday season. Check back for more details and be sure to mark your calendar now for one of these evenings--this is something you don't want to miss and is appropriate for the entire family. More information here.
